I have been an agricultural educator since 2003, having come to Dallas High School in 2014. I grew up in Dallas and graduated from Dallas High in 1997. My educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science in animal science as well as a minor in chemistry and a Masters of Arts and Teaching degree from Oregon State University. I enjoy providing hands-on and experiential learning opportunities to our students. I also enjoy seeing them grow as they learn new skills and gain confidence in their own abilities.
My first year of teaching Agricultural Education was in 2019 and I started teaching here at Dallas High School in 2022. I grew up always wanting to be a teacher however, it was not until I was in High School that I found my passion for Agriculture and FFA. I attended Clackamas High School and was an active member in the North Clackamas FFA. I attended Linn Benton Community College and then Oregon State University where I received my Masters in Agricultural Education. For the past 15 years I have helped my family on their Dairy Farm, Lady Lane Farm. From milking cows, processing milk and selling milk to consumers. I absolutely love to continue to learn about agriculture and teach my students all about the wonderful world of agriculture.
